Director, Global Medical External Affairs

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects supporting global medical affairs external engagement priorities
- Develop governance frameworks, business processes, and operational standards for compliant program execution
- Coordinate strategic interactions with professional societies, healthcare organizations, and academic institutions
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to measure operational effectiveness and business impact
- Manage portfolio of strategic external relationships and collaborative initiatives while monitoring alignment with organizational goals
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects in pharmaceutical or life sciences
- Demonstrated ability to manage external collaborations and strategic partnerships in healthcare
- Strong project and program management skills with ability to handle multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, business cases, and dashboards
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority in matrixed organizations
- Operational expertise in process optimization and continuous improvement implementation
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations
