Duties

• Prepare and process outbound shipments using advanced warehouse management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and update inventory management software accordingly.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move stock safely within the facility.
• Pack orders with precision, utilizing proper packaging techniques to protect products during transit while optimizing space.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate records and support inventory management efforts.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping logistics, including scheduling pickups and deliveries in compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all shipping & receiving activities, including data entry into AS400 or similar systems, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Support order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment efficiently.
• Assist in warehouse operations such as stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and supporting order picker activities to optimize workflow.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during load & unload procedures and operate equipment like pallet jacks responsibly.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs (Material Requirements Planning).
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal teams and external carriers.
