Assistant Underwriter – Wholesale Insurance Company Join Assistant Underwriter at Novatae Risk Group in Tallahassee, FL. Full‑time, entry level. Salary range $45,000–$50,000. Responsibilities Manage a substantial book of renewal business and handle new and renewal account tasks. Prioritize tasks to deliver work quickly and at high quality. Own processes, tasks, and issues from start to finish. Produce error‑free work and embrace constructive criticism. Instill a sense of urgency in self and others. Self‑starter with initiative; confidently manage time and workload. Build trust through transparent practices and honest communication. Be decisive but flexible when needed. Requirements Property & Casualty License required or agreement to obtain within 3–6 months. Valid driver's license and insurance. Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members. Self‑motivated, driven, and able to meet deadlines with urgency. Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
