About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Asset Management to take on a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the full lifecycle performance of a multifamily portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving NOI growth, executing asset business plans, and maximizing investment returns. This includes managing third-party property managers and joint venture partners across a multi-state portfolio, leading portfolio strategy, revenue management, budgeting, capital planning, and ensuring operational best practices. The role also involves conducting property visits, optimizing portfolio performance through financial analysis, and contributing to the advancement of the firm's technology and AI-enabled operating platform. Applicants must have a minimum of 7-11 years' of experience in multifamily or comparable commercial real estate asset management, with a background at an institutional owner, REIT, or value-add private equity firm. The role requires a proven track record in managing geographically dispersed portfolios, experience in joint venture ownership structures, and strong financial modeling, underwriting, and NOI optimization skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is essential, as are strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Familiarity with property management software and technology platforms is expected, with a preference for candidates who have an interest in AI-enabled tools.
