Leader, Warehouse Systems Support

Role Summary:

The Leader, Warehouse Systems Support oversees the performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes across the organization. This role serves as a liaison between warehouse operations and IT, ensuring technology, automation, and processes are optimized to support productivity, accuracy, and scalability.

The leader will manage new system implementations, drive operational excellence, and provide strategic direction for warehouse performance and system utilization. This role will require strong cross-functional collaboration to maintain operational standards and support business objectives with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety. It also includes responsibility for the design and development of business processes within TireHub’s warehouse management systems.

This position reports to the Director, Warehousing and Logistics.

Role Specifics:

Warehouse System & Technology Management

• Oversees inventory control, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes across all of TireHub WMS implementations.
• Integrates YMS into Koerber WMS.
• Owns the configuration, optimization, and functional support of Warehouse Management Systems into and related technologies (e.g., YMS, TMS, automation systems).

· Proficiency in writing, optimizing, and executing SQL queries using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).

• Partners with IT and external vendors to implement new system features, integrations, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots and resolves system issues, minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
• Documents process changes within WMS and maintains comprehensive manuals and guidelines for staff training and reference.
• Reviews existing business workflows to ensure alignment between WMS processes and business and financial requirements.
• Serves as primary point of contact for device connectivity and technical support.
• Diagnosis and provide data feedback to provide solve long-term unexpected backend actions.

Leadership & People Management

• Manages and develops a team of process leads, analysts, and operations staff.
• Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Sets performance goals and conducts regular reviews.

 

Data & Analytics

• Proficiency in writing, optimizing, and executing SQL queries using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
• Analyzes warehouse performance data and trends to recommend process improvements.

 

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Ensures compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Leads Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
• Stays current on industry trends and best practices.

 

Training, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitates cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on projects and gather stakeholder input.
• Develops and delivers training programs to ensure staff proficiency in warehouse systems and tools.

Administrative & Compliance

• Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
• Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field preferred.

· 7+ years of experience in in warehouse or distribution operations.

· 2+ years of leadership experience overseeing WMS or similar systems.

· Experience leading remote teams with a proven track record.

· Experience with implementation of Koerber WMS, preferred.

· Experience with KPI management.

• Experience with process improvement and an understanding of Lean methodologies.
• Experience working within a multi-site or distributed operations environment.

· A valid REAL I.D. or valid REAL I.D. Driver’s license.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• YMS systems process (Yardview).
• Project Management (PMP) certification.

 

Working Conditions:

• This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours during routinely critical times to support the department.

· This role may be based remotely or at headquarters office in Dunwoody, GA depending on business needs.

• Must be able to travel up to 50%.

 

Salary Range: $112,400 - $140,500
