We are looking for a Senior Supervisor, Maintenance to work at our facility in Riverside - CA. Relocation assistance will be provided.
What You Will Do
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians.
- Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work to support production schedules.
- Ensure timely execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, repairs, and emergency breakdowns.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
- Review maintenance work orders, labor utilization, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, weekends, or on-call schedules as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- 35 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
