Job Summary

CVS Health MinuteClinic is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its clinical care team in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care and be comfortable providing evidence-based healthcare, managing chronic conditions, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat common illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct routine physical examinations and health screenings.
• Manage chronic conditions and ongoing health concerns.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient follow-ups and support continuity of care.
• Encourage patient participation in wellness and chronic disease management.
• Handle administrative duties, including clinic opening and closing, inventory, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year of recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care.
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
• Knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measurement.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure if required.

️ Work Schedule

• Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week.
• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM.
• Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Rotation: May be required.
• On-Call Rotation: May be required.

The final schedule and assigned shifts will be confirmed by the hiring team.

• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior CVS/Aetna work experience is not required.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding; confirm the requirement according to MinuteClinic guidelines.
