About the Role
Top Dog Garage Doors is a veteran-owned residential garage door company serving Brookhaven, Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Decatur, Marietta, and the surrounding Metro Atlanta area. We're hiring a Garage Door Technician to install, repair, and service garage doors and openers in our customers' homes.
Already experienced? Let's talk — bring your skills and start earning right away. New to garage doors but mechanically inclined? We provide full paid training. If you've worked in HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, low-voltage/security, carpentry, or general handyman work and you're good with your hands, you can succeed here.
What You'll Earn
- Guaranteed $700/week base pay
- Plus performance-based commission and bonuses
- Top technicians earn $100,000+ per year
- Paid, hands-on training — no garage door experience required
- Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided
What You'll Do
- Install and replace garage doors, sections, and openers
- Repair and adjust torsion and extension springs, cables, drums, rollers, tracks, and hardware
- Diagnose opener problems and align safety sensors
- Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance
- Deliver friendly, professional service in customers' homes and explain repairs clearly
- Safely operate hand and power tools and lift doors, panels, and equipment
- Keep your vehicle, tools, and job sites clean and organized
What We're Looking For
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn (experience with hand and power tools a plus)
- A trade background — garage doors, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, low-voltage, carpentry, or handyman work — is highly valued but not required
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll drive a company vehicle to job sites)
- Able to lift heavy doors and equipment and comfortable working on ladders and at heights
- Dependable, on-time, with a strong customer-service attitude
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
