Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Pizza Dip in Salisbury, NC. This position supports daily restaurant operations, including supervising team members, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest service. The Assistant Manager helps oversee opening and closing procedures, supports inventory management, and assists with cash handling and reporting. This role also involves coaching staff, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally, and maintaining a positive, teamwork-focused environment. The Assistant Manager collaborates with the General Manager to implement company policies, uphold brand standards, and drive overall restaurant performance. Qualifications Experience in restaurant or food service operations, including basic knowledge of kitchen workflows, front-of-house procedures, and health and safety standards. Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and support team members in a fast-paced environment. Customer service skills, including clear communication, conflict resolution, and a professional, friendly approach to guest interactions. Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks, manage shifts, and support inventory and cash-handling processes. Basic business and problem-solving skills, such as understanding KPIs, helping control labor and food costs, and addressing operational challenges. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform hands-on restaurant duties, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous supervisory or shift lead experience in hospitality or retail is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional management or hospitality training is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
