Operations Associate

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-scaling e-commerce brand, for a Remote Operations Associate to keep order workflows moving and connect the dots between fulfillment, customer service, and merchandising teams. This is a great fit for someone who likes solving practical problems, spotting where a process is breaking down, and jumping in to fix it before it affects the customer.

Day to day, you will be tracking orders through the fulfillment pipeline, flagging exceptions before they become escalations, and keeping cross-team communication tight so nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities

• Monitor daily order flow from checkout through fulfillment and delivery
• Identify and resolve order exceptions such as delays, stockouts, and shipping errors
• Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment partners to keep orders on schedule
• Partner with customer service to resolve order-related inquiries quickly
• Maintain accurate records in order management and inventory systems
• Support cross-team projects between operations, merchandising, and logistics
• Track key operational metrics and flag trends to leadership
• Help document and improve standard operating procedures
• Assist with returns and exchanges processing as needed
• Provide backup support during peak volume periods and promotions

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in operations, order management, logistics, or a related role
• Comfortable working with order management, ERP, or inventory systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams or departments
• Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action
• Experience in e-commerce or retail operations is a plus
