Position Information Posting Number: A1406 Working Title: Graduate Research Assistant Location: Edinburg, Texas College: College of Liberal Arts Department: College of Liberal Arts / Philosophy Division: Provost - Academic Affairs FTE: 0.50 Scope of Job: The Research Assistant will assist Research Faculty with research needs of various projects Discipline Specific Required Qualifications: Graduate Student Minimum Qualifications Must be admitted to a graduate degree program. Must be in good academic standing Be registered full-time for the respective semester - nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan. Preferred Qualifications The Research assistant will provide assistance on background material and collection of sources during Summer 2026 for the Principles of Bioethics and the Law book. The research assistant will provide 100 hours of research assistance working 10 hours per week for 10 weeks. Specific duties will be set in consultation with the student.
