Job Description Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technician (This is a 3rd shift position) (Corrugated Industry) What You Will Do in Your Role Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures Working with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment Reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications for installations Using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Responsibilities include a strong understanding of mechanical operations and basic understanding of electrical Committed to support operation Commit to work schedule as needed Able to identify and correct issues without being told to do so Understands basic machine function of the corrugator Able to read prints and figure out how to take a system apart and put it back together Intermediate in hydraulic and pneumatic theory and application Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Previous industrial maintenance OR a two (2) year Industrial Maintenance degree Experience reading technical drawings and schematics Provide your own metric and standard tools, e.g.: socket and wrench sets, and Allen T-handles Experience with 3 phase 480v, 24 vdc control, and VFD’s Programmable logic controllers: 1 year minimal Mechanical knowledge: 1 year minimal What Will Put You Ahead Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics Previous corrugated experience Company Description Sustainable Corrugated is a leading manufacturer of high-quality corrugated paper sheets, operating a state-of-the-art corrugator in Dalton, Georgia.
