Senior Accounting Analyst - ERP Implementation (San Diego) Partner with us at a pioneering biotechnology leader to champion a transformative ERP implementation in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. We are seeking a proactive Senior Accounting Analyst for a contract role to spearhead financial data integrity, ensure seamless cutover readiness, and drive system integration success. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead end-to-end accounting test scenarios across ERP system integration and user acceptance testing cycles, tracking issues through resolution.

• Validate complex accounting configurations, transaction processing, and downstream financial reporting to ensure impeccable data integrity.

• Optimize BlackLine journal entry workflows and execute crucial data conversion tie-outs between legacy systems and the new ERP.

• Support mock closes and execute accounting validation activities to confirm readiness for production processing and post-go-live stabilization.

• Draft and modernize process narratives and control documentation to reflect future-state processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency with US GAAP, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven ability to prioritize workload, bring a proactive process improvement mindset, and deliver exceptional accuracy under accelerated deadlines.

• Self-directed with strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and expedite critical projects collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Must be flexible in terms of adjusting your schedule to various demands driven by our dynamic business environment.

• Preferred: Active CPA certificate, relevant industry accounting experience, and hands-on experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system).
