Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

Company: Growing Life Sciences Company

Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 + 10% Bonus + RSUs

Location: North County San Diego (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Overview

Our client, a growing publicly traded life sciences company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support SEC reporting, technical accounting, and corporate accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or public accounting professional looking to gain exposure to complex accounting matters in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance
• Prepare accounting memos, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls
• Participate in process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
