JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments; inspect for damage, verify quantities, and match against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately enter receipts into ERP/WMS systems
- Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to prioritize material flow
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including proper forklift operation
- Handle documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and carrier paperwork
- Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to appropriate teams
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience preferred)
- Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment operation
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
