Job Description Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Pittsburgh PA We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice part time in Pittsburgh, PA. We are offering a flexible schedule -working 1 day per week (Wed) with the possibility of increasing hours/days in the future or an additional day (Mon) if willing to travel to our clinic in Youngstown, OH. We are a physical medicine office, and we utilize natural regenerative cellular therapies to treat our patients acute and chronic pain and injuries. The Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner duties include joint and trigger point injections, and incoming provider must have experience in that area as well as Orthopedic experience and good clinical exam skills. The NP/PA’s perform a comprehensive orthopedic/musculoskeletal exam/consultation and perform joint and trigger point injections in our physical medicine office. Duties: Patient exams/consultations - orthopedic/musculoskeletal (HPI, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/reports) Evaluate Clinical Data Order and review appropriate tests/imaging/records - read and interpret MRI and X-rays Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation Patient education as to diagnosis and treatment plan options Consultation with the Supervisory physician as needed Documentation- timely and accurate Treatments to include Joint and trigger point injections – US guided Assist in the direction of the management of the patient’s care Requirements: Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program PA/NP license in Pennsylvania Must have experience with Joint injections Orthopedic/ Physical Med and Rehab or Family medicine background is preferred Must be able to attend a training for 3 days typically a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during October or November in Charlotte, NC. We pay for flights, meals, transportation, and hotel. Compensation: $650 per day (depending on experience) plus bonus potential (up to additional $150/day) Schedule: 1 day per week (7:30-5:00/5:30 on every Wednesday)- an additional day (Mon) if willing to travel to our clinic in Youngstown, OH We have an exceptional team of healthcare professionals and experienced administrative staff, and we are looking for a driven PA or NP to join our team.
