- Partner directly with engineers and programmers to refine processes.
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and/or manual mills and lathes for production and one-off parts.
- Translate blueprints, drawings, and specifications into clear machining steps.
- Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; maintain spec compliance.
- Monitor machine performance and make offsets/adjustments to protect quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance; troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with engineers/programmers to improve cycle times and machining methods.
- Keep your area organized; follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate, timely job records.
- Hands-on machining experience (CNC and/or manual).
- Proficiency setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or manual machines.
- Comfort with precision measurement tools and inspection practices.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a fast-paced team.
- Familiarity with G-code programming (a plus, not required).
