Sourcing Recruiter

Title: Recruiter Place of Performance: Hybrid, Leesburg, VA twice per week Employment Type: Full-time hourly, non-benefited Overview We are seeking a Sourcing Recruiter to support our recruiting team by proactively engaging technical professionals in cleared environments. This role focuses on building relationships with candidates through thoughtful outreach, conversations, and long‑term pipeline development—particularly with individuals who may not be actively seeking new opportunities. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, understands the importance of discretion and trust in cleared recruiting, and is comfortable introducing opportunities through direct conversations and personalized engagement. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and engage cleared technical candidates using LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and direct outreach Initiate conversations with passive candidates to introduce opportunities and build long‑term relationships Conduct phone conversations to learn about candidate experience, interests, and clearance status Build and maintain pipelines for technical roles requiring active or recent security clearances Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing efforts with active and upcoming needs Provide detailed candidate insights and smooth handoffs to the recruiting team Track sourcing activity, outreach, and candidate engagement in the ATS Represent the company professionally and respectfully in all candidate interactions, with attention to confidentiality What Success Looks Like in This Role Consistent pipelines of engaged, qualified cleared technical candidates Positive candidate experiences built on transparency and trust Strong collaboration and communication with the recruiting team High‑quality initial conversations that support efficient downstream recruiting Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of experience in sourcing or recruiting, ideally supporting technical and/or cleared roles Comfort engaging candidates through phone calls and direct outreach Familiarity with security clearance levels and cleared hiring environments Experience sourcing passive candidates and building relationships over time Strong communication, listening, and follow‑up skills Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems Preferred Attributes Relationship‑driven and people‑focused Comfortable having unscripted, professional conversations Organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented Collaborative working style and appreciation for team‑based recruiting Interest in technical roles and learning new domains #J-18808-Ljbffr Yudrio, Inc.
