Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Truck Technician (Kansas City, MO)

Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our repair shop located in Kansas City, MO ! Pay: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will typically pay a range from $25.00 up to $42.00/hour for qualified candidates. Additional efficiency and ASE bonuses are also available. Schedule: Day shift - Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week, 8 hour shifts No night shift, weekends, holidays, or on-call schedule required! Family owned company, with strong shop/parts support. Since we are an independent dealership, our technicians focus on quality repairs, not flat-rate pressure. Our technicians work on all Class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt) as well as Cummins, Detroit, and CAT engines. Technician work will also include transmission, driveline, susupension, and electrical diagnostics and repair. All repairs at Vander Haag’s are completed in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned shop that is equipped with overhead cranes and hoists.
