Education:

• Master’s degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited university or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years related experience.
• Requires a working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment and procedures.

Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire.

The City of Peoria has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and community-focused Library Branch Supervisor at Sunrise Mountain Library. In this role, you will lead and support library staff, manage daily branch operations and facilities, oversee budgets and resources, coordinate programs and services, and build strong partnerships throughout the community.

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in a municipal or government setting.
• Staff & facility management
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous budgetary experience
• Master's degree in a related field
• Related experience beyond the minimum requirement may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
