- # Production AssociateApply: United States, Missouri, Saint Joseph: Full time: Posted Today: WD50904**Job Title:** Production Associate **Location:** St. Joseph Distribution Center | 2330 SW Lower Lake Rd, St. Joseph, MO 64504**Pay:** $25.00**Shifts:*** 2nd Shift**:** Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM **What We Offer*** Starting pay **$25/hr.*** Paid vacation and 13 paid holidays (eligibility after 30 days)* Health, dental, and vision insurance* 401k plan with company match* Annual bonus opportunity (up to 4% based on plant performance)* Free employee battery program (after 120 days)* Company-paid uniforms, PPE, and safety shoes* Fitness reimbursement program* $1,000 employee referral bonus (after 90 days)* Career growth opportunities within St. Joseph Distribution & Assembly operations **Job Responsibilities*** Operate and monitor automated shipping and decorating line equipment* Perform process and quality checks to ensure product meets customer specifications* Retrieve and follow specifications from the computer terminal* Remove process vents, decorate batteries, and reapply finish vents* Polish terminals and test quality using equipment such as Bitrode or manual Hi-Rater* Palletize batteries per customer requirements using OPS procedures and equipment* Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance within scope of role* Rotate through line positions to maintain production flow and efficiency* Maintain accurate production counts and documentation* Keep work area clean and orderly; support regular housekeeping and 5S **Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED preferred* 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks* Comfortable working in hot environments (temperatures up to 100°F)* Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills* Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork* Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, uniform, and safety boots) **About the Plant**The **St. Joseph Distribution Center (SJDC)** opened in 1995 and employs over 265 people. The facility packages, tests, and ships Clarios batteries to customers nationwide, supporting both distribution and assembly operations.
