Title Specialty Cashier - Anaheim Convention Center - Concessions Requisition # 653601 Location ANAHEIM, CA, 92802 Job Description Responsible for completing financial transactions, maintaining the balance of the cash drawer, and coding beverage containers with specialty coffee orders. The role is events‑based, typically 3‑4 events per year. Scheduling is based on availability. This is a union position (Unite Here 11) with an initial wage at 80% of the negotiated rate, rising to 90% after 20 shifts and 100% after 40 shifts. The ideal cashier greets guests, solves problems, balances cash, and provides excellent customer service. Compensation Hourly rate: $21.00 to $21.00. Benefits vary by location and employee eligibility. Job Responsibilities Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions. Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs. Count, organize, and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip, and make deposits. Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures. Understand merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions. Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for the unit based on operating hours. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift. Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous customer service experience preferred. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Basic math and counting skills required. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location. Physical Demands This role may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
