Senior Associate, Valuation Services Alternative Investment Services

About the Role Senior Associate, Valuation Services – a global consulting firm focused on advanced valuation techniques across financial reporting, tax compliance, mergers & acquisitions, complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, private equity, and real‑estate portfolios. You will identify and evaluate key financial and operational drivers to support robust valuation partnerships with managers and investors. You will address complex valuation challenges from critical investment, regulatory, and strategic perspectives to assess value at the fund, portfolio, and investment level. As part of a highly skilled, entrepreneurial team, you will service alternative asset managers and value assets within equity and credit investment portfolios for regulatory compliance and financial reporting. Responsibilities Conduct relevant research on securities, industry, market, and competitors. Build and update financial models using discounted‑cash‑flow, guideline company, precedent transaction, options‑pricing, and yield analysis approaches. Review and ensure accuracy of financial models and valuation analyses through quality‑control reviews. Conduct due diligence and maintain client documentation for model building and deliverables. Build and maintain effective control processes to monitor changes to model assumptions. Contribute to the preparation, creation, and review of reports and other client deliverables. Build strong client relationships through exceptional day‑to‑day project management, coordination, and execution. Communicate efficiently and effectively to all engagement‑team levels. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Professional qualification such as CFA, ASA, or CPA preferred. 3‑5 years of experience in financial analysis and financial modelling. Proficient Microsoft Excel skills. Strong writing skills and experience developing presentations and reports with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective project‑management and organizational skills. Ambitious, results‑driven, self‑starter with a desire to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based sponsorship. Benefits Salary range: $105,000–$125,000 annually. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
