Based in Troy, Michigan, our team specializes in bringing everyday essentials back to life, helping our neighbors maintain their homes without the unnecessary waste of replacing perfectly good machines. We are looking for an Appliance Repair Technician who genuinely cares about solving problems and helping others. You will be the person our customers rely on when their day hits a snag, providing them with peace of mind through your technical skills and friendly service. Responsibilities
Travel to customer homes throughout the Metro-Detroit area to diagnose, fix, and install electronics appliances.
Communicate clearly with clients about the repair process, estimated costs, and timelines.
Order necessary parts and manage inventory in your service vehicle.
Document all service visits, parts used, and final outcomes in our internal tracking system.
Ensure that workspaces are left clean and appliances are fully operational before departing.
Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects our company's dedication to quality service.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing major home appliances.
Understanding of electrical systems and mechanical schematics.
Experience using multi-meters and standard hand tools.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Effective communication skills for explaining repairs to homeowners.
Certification in HVAC or refrigerant handling is a plus.
