Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Seeking an experienced electro-mechanical technician skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ASRS equipment, including cranes, shuttles, conveyors, lifts, and sortation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues
- Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, manuals, PLC/HMI interfaces, and diagnostic tools
- Respond to breakdowns and execute repairs to minimize operational downtime
- Perform electrical work including sensors, motors, encoders, VFDs, motor controls, and safety devices
- Complete mechanical repairs such as belt and chain replacement, bearing changes, alignment, and lubrication
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of electro-mechanical equipment maintenance experience, preferably with ASRS or automated material handling systems
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (24-480V)
- Solid mechanical aptitude (conveyors, motors, gearboxes, linear motion systems)
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar; diagnostics only)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience working in industrial or warehouse environments
- Basic computer skills and CMMS experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ASRS platforms (Daifuku, Dematic, Murata, TGW, SSI Schaefer, etc.)
- Technical certification, apprenticeship, or associate degree in a maintenance-related field
- Experience with robotics, shuttle systems, or automated warehouse technology
- Familiarity with safety PLCs, light curtains, and guarding systems

- Vise grips (standard & needle-nose)
