Position Details Permanent Position Full time to Part Time (1.0 - 0.8) PEN Level 2 (PE21-YD22) Located at Alfred Health Responsibilities The position is based at Alfred Mental & Addiction Health, within the Ground Floor Inpatient Unit of Alfred Hospital. The role is suited to an experienced, patient‑centred Enrolled Nurse who will: Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Maintain knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation. Execute risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning and medication administration. Partner effectively with patients in their recovery and remain accountable for delegated functions. Participate in a rotating shift work roster. Qualifications & Experience Required Registration with AHPRA in Enrolled Nursing and a current practicing certificate. Medication administration endorsement (essential). PEN Level 2 applies to Enrolled Nurses who: Have at least 2 years’ experience and hold an NMBA‑approved qualification in administration of medicines with an Administration of Medicines scope or a post‑registration qualification in mental health nursing; or Undertake duties that include PEN 2 duties as part of their role, within their scope of practice; or Are undertaking a Community Training Position of up to 12 months (as defined).
