You'll troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and production equipment while performing preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability. You'll help drive safety, efficiency, and operational excellence throughout the facility.Essential Functions:Ensure operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsWork with production personnel to troubleshoot electrical issuesWork in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM's to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipmentLocate sources of problems by observing machines in operation and using precision measuring and testing instrumentsPerform electrical troubleshooting using the proper tools and PPEControl downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniquesMaintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsUse computer system to document work and account for partsCommunicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or otherMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsPerformance Measures and Outcomes:Adherence to safety policies and proceduresQuality of workProduction goalsEducation/Certification:Successful completion of a 16-month course at an accredited university requiredWork Experience:Corrugated manufacturing and converting experience preferredAdditional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesAbility to read and understand machine part lists, preventative maintenance manuals, schematics and blueprintsProficient computer skills including the ability to navigate and perform needed duties on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ability to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsAbility to operate equipment including machines, alignment tools, high lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts, etc.Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controlsTravel Requirements:NoneMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
