Select Source Solutions is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Architect to collaborate with government agency leadership in identifying opportunities where AI technologies can transform and enhance business processes. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, researching ethical and legal implications of AI, and evaluating cutting-edge AI platforms. As a key member of our team, you will use your technical expertise to accelerate data modernization and foster innovative solutions that address critical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Collaboration:

  • Partner with leadership to evaluate how AI can enhance agency business processes.
  • Build strategic objectives for AI use by gathering stakeholder input and creating actionable development plans.

• Research and Evaluation:

  • Perform market research and assess the technical feasibility of AI platforms.
  • Conduct "alpha" testing of AI solutions and recommend platforms for agency adoption.
  • Research ethical and legal challenges associated with AI implementation in government.

• Problem-Solving and Analysis:

  • Analyze user feedback, break down complex problems, and provide logical, actionable solutions.
  • Create process diagrams and documentation for development teams and stakeholders.

• Collaborative Design:

  • Use digital whiteboarding tools (e.g., Visio, Adobe XD, Figma) to facilitate discussions, generate ideas, and produce flowcharts in real time during virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with teams to iterate on application designs and implementation strategies.

• Project and Work Item Management:

  • Administer Azure DevOps to manage work items, track progress, and ensure team alignment.
  • Conduct meetings, run queries, and maintain accurate records in Azure DevOps.

• Documentation and Communication:

  • Develop comprehensive documentation and user guides for applications.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, clearly articulating application design and functionality.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master's degree highly preferred).

• Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience designing AI applications and knowledge of machine learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using digital whiteboarding tools like Visio, Adobe XD, PowerPoint, or Figma.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for project management and team collaboration.

• Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ethical AI practices and compliance with data protection regulations.
