Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Dietary Cook! We are an accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents age 6-17. We focus on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families.

The Dietary Cook's responsibilities include some of the following:

· Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.

· Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.

· Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.

· Test’s food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.

· Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.

Qualified candidates should have the following:

· Must have a High School Diploma

· Able to work the schedule as prescribed for the department
