Business Development & Sales Representative - Commercial Painting

Blair Commercial Painting, LLC Business Development & Sales Representative Location: Southeast Wisconsin Job Type: Full-Time, W-2 Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience Blair Commercial Painting, LLC is an award‑winning commercial painting company serving Southeast Wisconsin. We specialize in commercial interior and exterior painting and are hiring a Business Development & Sales Representative to help grow our customer base in the local market. This is a business development‑focused sales role. You will prospect, build relationships, generate new commercial painting opportunities, and work with our team to help win new projects. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities in the Southeast Wisconsin commercial painting market Prospect and build relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, owners, and other key decision‑makers Identify, pursue, and help secure commercial painting opportunities Follow up on leads from existing relationships, referrals, and company‑supported channels Create and maintain a strong pipeline of new commercial painting opportunities Conduct site visits and walk commercial properties and job sites as needed to understand project scope Work with internal estimating and operations support to help develop proposals and pricing Present proposals, explain value clearly, and support negotiations to win work Stay visible and active in the market through networking, relationship‑building, and consistent follow‑up Maintain organized records of leads, opportunities, and client communication using company systems and software Collaborate closely with Blair Commercial Painting team members to support a smooth handoff once projects are sold Qualifications Proven sales experience is required New business development experience is strongly preferred Experience selling in construction, commercial services, building trades, or a related industry is strongly preferred Strong ability to build relationships, earn trust, and generate opportunities with new customers Confident communicator who is comfortable in face‑to‑face meetings, follow‑up conversations, and proposal discussions Self‑starter who can manage their own time, stay organized, and work independently Comfortable walking commercial and industrial properties and discussing project needs with decision‑makers Tech‑comfortable and able to use CRM/database systems, Google Workspace, CompanyCam, and related tools Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the Southeast Wisconsin market Pay & Benefits Full‑time, W-2 position $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience Room to grow as the Southeast Wisconsin market grows Higher earnings potential for someone who consistently produces results and develops new business Bonus opportunities tied to performance and market growth Company vehicle or vehicle allowance for local travel Company phone and computer PTO and paid holidays Health insurance support 401(k) with company match Why Join Blair Commercial Painting?
