JOB SUMMARY: 

This role will contribute to the sales and production teams by coordinating the process flow of all projects and facilitating easy communication between them for the benefit of customers. The Expeditor will provide a variety of sales support services which will include the input of sales orders into the ERP system as well as the development and execution of an effective sales filing system and inventory control.

The Expeditor will work directly with team management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively. This position in 70% office and 30% shop/inventory

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain active client & inventory files
• Input sales orders into Global Shop (ERP system)
• Assist in sales process where needed
• may select units for production
• Inventory Control
• must provide own steel-toed boots

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

·       must have proficiency in MS Office/Excel/Word

·       must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

·       must have strong attention to detail

·       ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

must be able to easily learn technical and mechanical specifications relative to electrical transformers and components thereof

·       must be able to communicate professionally with multiple personality types

·       must be a good self-manager, and work well with limited supervision

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·       2 years Warehouse or inventory management experience is required

·       2 years inside sales or sales support is preferred, but not required

·       experience using Global Shop or other ERP system is helpful

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

·       High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·       Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally

·       ability to stand and walk up to 60% of the time

·       ability to work in all weather conditions (indoors, outdoors in cold/hot/rain/sun)

·       ability to kneel, squat, bend frequently

·       able to sit at desk and use computer
