Part‑Time Clinical Faculty (Supervisor) Communication Sciences & Disorders-CoHP 2026‑2027 Position: Part‑Time Clinical Faculty (Supervisor) in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Scope of Job The Department occasionally needs Part‑Time Clinical Supervisors to supervise in its Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Responsibilities include delivering quality clinical instruction and supervision within the program. Faculty will demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly work, student success and advancing the university, college and program missions. Minimum Qualifications Earned master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP). Eligible for Texas licensure. Preferred Qualifications Supervision experience with assistants and/or students. Experience working effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Clinical experience with assessment and intervention with populations across the lifespan. Salary Paid per course taught, commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. Work Details Work Location: MASS Building 2nd Floor, Edinburg, TX 78539. Appointment Period: Non‑Tenure; FTE 1.00 (part‑time). Desired Start Date: 09/01/2026. Vacancies: 1.
