Registered Nurse (RN) - Admissions

What is the role of Admissions RN? The Admissions RN focuses on completing OASIS Starts of Care (SOC) for all patients including geriatric patients, setting the clinical foundation for high-quality care. Their work is critical to compliance, risk reduction, and the integrity of the patient’s plan of care. Coverage Areas Needed: East Boston, South Boston, Brookline, Allston, Cambridge, Brighton, Malden, Medford, Everett, Chelsea, Revere, and Somerville Your day will include: Perform in-home OASIS SOC assessments Complete accurate, detailed assessment documentation Develop the initial plan of care Communicate effectively with providers and internal care teams Who are we looking for? Characteristics Strategic leader, strong communicator, excellent orator, mature & professional personality, master in engaging with different groups, adaptable, innovative & strong motivator. Qualifications Must have a criminal background check Current Registered Nurse in the state of MA Requires minimum 1 year of recent Home Care clinical nursing experience and must have done OASIS visits with a Medicare-certified agency. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Current CPR accredited by American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (certificate must be healthcare provider or healthcare professional).
