Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent experience in the Operating Room License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Level 1 experience desired. Experience in Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS is required. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Rehire eligibility will be checked. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a strong background in the Operating Room. Candidates should possess Level 1 experience and a minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room experience. Staff will be expected to cover a variety of specialty areas. A call policy is in place, with specific hours outlined for weekday and weekend coverage. Candidates may have 2-3 calls during the first six-week schedule and will rotate for weekend calls in the subsequent six-week periods. Compliance requirements include BLS certification and competency exams. Candidates should engage in interdisciplinary support and be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses.
