Assistant Maintenance Technician

Pay: $22 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Assistant Maintenance Technician to help maintain our properties and facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing a variety of general maintenance and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and dispose of trash and maintain clean work areas
• Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, parking areas, and other surfaces
• Assist with basic electrical work, such as replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and bulbs
• Perform light repairs and general maintenance
• Assist with plumbing, painting, drywall, and other minor repairs as needed
• Inspect areas and report maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Use and maintain basic hand and power tools
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist the maintenance team with additional tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, janitorial, construction, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical and general repairs
• Experience operating a pressure washer is a plus
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Physically able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and work outdoors when necessary
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license required

Schedule & Compensation

• $22/hour
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekends as needed
• Full-time position
