Oncology Account Specialist- Lung Cancer - Detroit, MI

AstraZeneca seeks an Oncology Account Specialist to engage healthcare providers across the Detroit area, focusing on lung cancer and related tumor types. The role combines clinical selling expertise with account planning to support patient care transformation in oncology.
Responsibilities
- Identify tumor-focused account priorities and conduct opportunity assessments across multidisciplinary customer groups
- Develop and manage account plans with tumor-specific business strategies and engagement approaches
- Educate healthcare providers on product efficacy, safety, dosing, and companion diagnostic testing
- Collaborate with field team members to identify cross-brand engagement opportunities
- Provide input on geography-level priorities and support clinical selling initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years sales or commercial experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Oncology sales background in breast, lung, hematology, gynecology, or gastrointestinal cancer
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex clinical information effectively
- Track record of building customer relationships and achieving sales goals
