Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping protect sensitive operations, equipment, and controlled areas in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
