The position may be filled as a temporary HR Assistant or as an HR Internship. The position may be filled part time or full-time, between 20-40 hours per week, depending on availability.What you will do:Perform ongoing data input within HRIS and LMS, including processing status changes, employee demographics, and wage theft notices.Works closely with the Human Resources and Payroll team to complete internal audits and ensure accurate and complete data within HRIS and LMS systems.Assist the team in handling employment verifications and other employment-related inquiries from person-served guardians, case managers, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Complete and verify team member and person-served I-9 forms and documentation and maintain I-9 files.Support the team with projects as may be assigned.What you will need:High school diplomaAt least two years of recent experience with primary responsibility for data and systems.Strong analytical, MS Excel, and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, detailed-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong judgment, discretion, integrity and professionalism.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential materials.Ability to independently establish and complete work schedules and meet deadlines.Compliance with Rule 11 and Rise MVR background check required.Able to pass Rise pre-employment job testing.Preferred Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:Two-year degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fieldThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Experience with Paylocity strongly preferredExperience in the nonprofit industry and with HRIS allocationsSkill in capturing and summarizing payroll information for analytical and monitoring purposesWhat we have to offer you:Wage: $17.86 - 18.91 per hour, depending on qualificationsThis is a hybrid position, with the option to work remotely and a requirement to work from the Rise Admin Office (Fridley, MN) every other Monday and as needed.Daytime work hours (No evenings, weekends, or major holidays)Opportunity to learn about the human resources field in a non-profit settingA fun team environment that supports your professional development and opportunities for career advancement.Rise is a PSLF-eligible employer.
