Expand Your Practice - Optometrist for Veteran Compensation and Pension Exams

Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed optometrist with their own office to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As an optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation for each veteran, including a review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit QuestionnaireResponsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision evaluations for veterans
- Review medical records to assess conditions and related impairments
- Compete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed
- Doctorate in Optometry degree from an accredited university
- Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry
- Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred
- Excellent clinical and assessment skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive per exam rate (potential to earn up to $850 per day)
