Amada Senior Care Davenport IA is seeking dependable and caring team members to support our expanding client base throughout the Muscatine area.
Position Details:
- Part-Time
- PRN/Flexible Scheduling
- Potential to Transition Into Full-Time
Starting Compensation:
- Approximately $17.00/hour
Current Shift Needs:
- Days
- Evenings
- Overnights
- Weekend coverage
About the Role:
Our caregivers help clients maintain independence by providing non-medical support services, companionship, supervision, and assistance with everyday activities inside the home.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assistance with personal care routines
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Laundry and household assistance
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Monitoring client safety and environment
- Documenting care notes after visits
- Communicating changes or concerns to supervisors
- Participating with the care team as needed
Preferred but not required: 2 years of caregiving or equivalent experience
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Current automobile insurance
- Ability to read and follow care instructions
- Professionalism and compassion toward clients and families
- Willingness to complete orientation and ongoing training requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required
