Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
• Perform direct intubation, extubation, and administer aerosol therapies.
• Manage ventilators and monitor patients' respiratory status effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain accurate patient records.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function tests.

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential and state licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NRP preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year NICU experience.
• Experience with Epic charting required.
• Proficiency in managing respiratory emergencies and transports.
• Strong skills in neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures preferred.
