Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy modalities to NICU patients as prescribed.
• Conduct ventilator management and monitor patient progress.
• Assist with direct intubation, extubation, and airway management.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including bronchoscopy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient responses accurately within the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a valid state license.
• 1 year of NICU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; NRP preferred.
• Experienced with Epic charting system.
• Proficiency in neonatal/pediatric respiratory therapy procedures preferred.
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination required with exemptions only for medical/religious reasons.
