The Team You Will Be JoiningGrowing, private equity-backed services organization with approximately $100M in annual revenueAcquisition-driven business continuing to invest in its financial systems, processes, and technology infrastructureCollaborative environment partnering across Finance, IT, Operations, and business leadershipSalesforce-native environment leveraging Certinia as a core platform for financial and operational workflowsFinance team focused on improving automation, reporting, data quality, and overall utilization of its ERP environmentWhat They Offer YouA visible, high-impact role serving as Finance’s primary Certinia subject-matter expertHands-on ownership of Certinia enhancements from assessment and requirements through configuration, testing, deployment, and supportDirect partnership with the Controller, Finance leadership, IT, Operations, and other business stakeholdersOpportunity to improve billing, financial close, reporting, integrations, and operational-to-financial workflowsAbility to help shape the Certinia roadmap while reducing manual processes and improving system adoptionExposure to acquisition integrations, data migrations, and financial systems standardization as the organization continues to growWhy This Role Is ImportantServe as the functional and technical owner for Certinia, assessing the current environment and identifying configuration, process, integration, and data gapsLead hands-on Certinia configuration and enhancements across general ledger, accounts receivable, billing/invoicing, revenue, financial close, reconciliations, and reportingImprove quote-to-cash and work-order-to-billing processes across Salesforce and CertiniaTranslate Finance requirements into practical system designs, configurations, workflows, test cases, and reporting solutionsIdentify opportunities for automation, standardized configurations, improved controls, and reduced reliance on spreadsheets and manual workaroundsLead testing, UAT, documentation, deployment readiness, training, and post-launch support for system enhancementsSupport acquisition integrations through data mapping, migration requirements, validation, and standardized system onboardingPartner with IT and external Certinia consultants on integrations, security, Salesforce dependencies, architecture, and change governanceThe Background That Fits3+ years of ERP, financial systems, or enterprise business applications experience with significant hands-on Certinia/FinancialForce ownershipDemonstrated experience configuring, implementing, or materially enhancing Certinia in a production environmentStrong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including billing, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, and reportingWorking knowledge of Salesforce, including data structures, permissions, integrations, platform dependencies, and release/change managementProven ability to translate Finance requirements into system configurations, workflows, functional designs, and test plansExperience diagnosing underutilized or poorly configured ERP environments and independently delivering improvementsExperience with data migration, integrations, reporting, financial controls, and workflow automation strongly preferredCertinia implementation, consulting, solution architecture experience, or relevant Certinia/Salesforce certifications preferredExperience within multi-entity, private equity-backed, acquisition-driven, or field-services organizations is a plusBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience consideredReference: 70844
