ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a dual-language program for the 2026–2027 school year.
Job Details
Location: San Jose, CA
Position: Special Education Teacher
Grade Levels: TK–5th Grade
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Hours: 35 hours/week
Program: Dual-language program
Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of students and serve as the special education case manager
Develop, facilitate, and maintain student IEPs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education and special education staff
Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration and student support meetings
Provide specialized instruction and support based on individual student needs
Qualifications
Valid California Special Education teaching credential required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Experience with case management and IEP development/facilitation preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with elementary students preferred
