As PACCAR modernizes its financial technology stack with AI/ML capabilities and cloud infrastructure, you'll evaluate how these emerging solutions integrate with our existing systems and identify opportunities to strengthen performance, security, and compliance. You'll analyze complex financial systems and collaborate internally to implement solutions that support PACCAR's global operations reliably and securely.Job Functions / Responsibilities In this role you will:Analyze financial systems and applications to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and optimization opportunitiesConduct root cause analysis on system incidents and implement permanent solutionsManage SQL Server database performance tuning, query optimization, and maintenanceSupport business application enhancements, troubleshooting, and integration with financial systemsCollaborate with developers on system design, architecture reviews, and code quality assessmentsCreate comprehensive technical documentation, system specifications, and process flowsEvaluate emerging financial technology solutions and assess compatibility with existing infrastructureMonitor system performance metrics and capacity planning for Windows and Linux environmentsParticipate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity testingTechnical Environment - Windows Server infrastructure (2016/2019/2022) - SQL Server (2016 and newer versions) - .NET Framework and.NET Core applications - Linux servers (Redhat/Ubuntu) - IBM AS400 systems (analysis and coordination) - System monitoring tools and performance analytics platformsQualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field · 7+ years of general work experience · 5+ years of system analysis experience in a financial services or similarly regulated environment · Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, including the ability to evaluate, artificial intelligence solutions for system operations · Demonstrated expertise with SQL Server (database design, performance tuning, T-SQL) · Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting web applications · Knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting, with working knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations · Experience with financial systems, regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS), and data security best practices · Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect complex technical problems and propose data-driven solutions · Effective collaboration skills and experience working closely with developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders · Ability to document complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences · Demonstratable adaptability and comfort working in environments that mix modern and legacy technologies · Evidence of continuous learning and staying current with financial technology trends and platform updates · Ability to work standard business hours with on-call emergency supportPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Experience supporting or analyzing AS400/IBM i systems · Familiarity with financial industry standards and banking operations · Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration · Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA), ITIL, or financial industry certifications · Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) for hybrid environments · Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies · Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat modelingPaccar Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you receive a comprehensive benefits package including: Fully funded pension plan plus 401(k) with up to 5% company match Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) to invest in PACCAR stock Minimum 10 paid vacation days, 12 paid holidays, and sick time Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA) Paid short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage Tuition reimbursement for continued learning Employee Assistance Program (EAP) including wellness plans, estate planning, and financial counseling PACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability. The salary range for this position is $104,000 to $160,000 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
