Senior Staff Systems Engineer

Senior Staff Systems Engineer role focused on electromechanical and robotic medical device systems. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into product specifications, leading cross-functional technical projects, and driving systems engineering practices across new product development and sustaining portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system-level performance for electromechanical and robotic systems through cross-functional collaboration
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into system requirements and conduct hazard identification
- Lead planning and execution of technical projects across new product development and sustaining portfolios
- Support product verification, validation, and beta launch activities at early-adopter customer sites
- Coach teams on technical documentation best practices and Design for Six Sigma implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Six years post-baccalaureate progressive experience in electromechanical systems and product development
- Six years with experimental design, statistical methods, and Design for Six Sigma methodologies
- Four years in systems engineering activities including requirement management, FMEA, and verification/validation
- Four years experience transitioning R&D products to manufacturing and supporting field troubleshooting
- Experience operating within design control or Quality Management System environments
