Intern - Lab

$17.75 - $22 per hour

Labcorp seeks a laboratory intern for an 11-week paid program in Burlington, North Carolina. The role involves shadowing lab professionals, assisting with specimen handling and non-testing tasks, and learning diagnostic workflows under supervision.

Responsibilities

Shadow laboratory professionals to learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and operations
Assist with specimen organization, inventory management, and workspace preparation
Participate in supervised mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques
Support approved laboratory projects
Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree program
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following laboratory procedures
Interest in laboratory science and diagnostics industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently under general supervision and demonstrate initiative

Compensation: $17.75-$22.00/hr
