Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse position is located in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a Level I trauma acute care hospital with a comprehensive Cardiac Cath Lab. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 days shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, averaging 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois nursing license, minimum of 1-year experience in a catheterization lab, ACLS and BLS certifications, proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including Left and Right heart catheterizations, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. Cerner charting system experience is required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, prior experience in a Level I trauma or acute care hospital setting
• Float: Float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs
• Additional Information: The role requires working 2-3 weekends per contract, with the possibility of floating within the hospital or nearby affiliate facilities. Candidates must be available for on-call duties as needed, and RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days. All required certifications must be current, with active Illinois licensure in hand at the time of submission.
