Range Safety Officer

Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Range Safety Officer assists, plans, directs and supervises the camps target range program.Essential Responsibilities:Supervise staff and campers for the safe operation of the facility and programComplete staff trainingConduct daily facility and equipment checks for safety and cleanliness, report any issuesMaintain course recordsAbility to teach the use of and maintain archery and air rifle equipmentPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications:Education/Experience: Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesSkills, Knowledge & Abilities: Minimum 1 (one) year training and experience in target sportsComputer Skills:Basic skills in Microsoft Office 365Knowledge of TEAMS and SharePointWillingness to learn new software as neededCertificates and Licenses: Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as neededCurrent certification in TSAO Basic Archery Instructor and Basic Air Rifle InstructorJob RequirementsThe Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
