F&B Shift Lead - 3rd Shift

At Turfway Park Racing and Gaming, the Food and Beverage Shift Leader will oversee daily operations, supervise team members, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service.

Job Duties:

• Supervise team members, assign duties, and create schedules.
• Monitor performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
• Report any issues that arise during the shift to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
• Coach team members and train new staff.
• Handling customer issues and employee disputes.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role.
• Experience creating shift schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain KHRC License.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The Team Member may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The Team Member is subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
